Faith leaders who attended the solidarity actions in Minneapolis will share their experience in Minnesota, and we will draw connections to the way faith communities can support migrant community members.

The Seattle Church Council of Greater Seattle hosted its inaugural Noche Cultural (Cultural Night), a celebration of migrant experiences and Latin American heritage.

Grupo de Solidaridad is honored to extend a warm invitation to our network to join us for our Migrant Cultural Night on Saturday, December 6th from 5:30-8:00 PM.

Over 120 people of faith and conscience joined us for a multi-faith convening on migrant solidarity.

On September 7, community members gathered for the immersive theatrical production The Detention Lottery. Proceeds supported our Fondo de Grupo.

Join us on Sunday, September 7 at 4 PM (doors open at 3:30 PM) at Seattle First UMC for a one-hour production of The Detention Lottery.

At Grupo's last meeting, an immigration attorney joined us to provide key updates on the current immigration situation. In addition, they worked on strategies to reinforce "Know Your Rights" trainings and the development of family safety plans, which are vital safety and preparation tools.

Last week, our Grupo de Solidaridad traveled to Olympia to join many of our immigration organizing partners in advocating for a statewide budget that prioritizes migrant communities.

This year, we joined over 500 other Washingtonians at WAISN’s Immigrant & Refugee Advocacy Day in Olympia. Co-Executive Director Joey Lopez represented us…and he had to attend alone…
