We shared how we will be showing up in deep solidarity and mutual accountability with our migrant neighbors in the months and years to come, including through the relaunch of the Sanctuary Network.

The Council held a forum entitled Understanding Forced Migration, centering the lived experiences of Daniel, Adriana, and Don, and facilitated by Flor. Our panelists encouraged continued support of newly arriving migrant communities and work towards true inclusion in society.

We invite you to participate in our "Understanding Forced Migration" forum, where the causes of forced migration will be discussed, and how we can support those who are compelled to leave their homes. October 4 from 6:30-8:30 PM at Saint Mark's Cathedral.

Please join us in contacting your state legislators in support of a $25M budget proviso dedicated to the Office of Refugee and Immigrant Assistance in order to support housing, food, employment education, and legal services for asylum seekers.
