You’re Invited: Immigration Organizing Faith Convening

The Church Council has been deeply invested in centering migrant communities throughout our 105-year history. This has included playing a pivotal role in the Sanctuary movements of the 1980s and during the last Trump administration. As we anticipate threats to migrant communities in the wake of this coming administration, we are grounded in the hope that through our collective power, we can make transformational change.

We invite the community to join us for an Immigration Organizing Faith Convening at First Church Seattle (180 Denny Way) on January 16 at 6:30 PM, doors open at 6:00 PM. Through this gathering, we will share how we will be showing up in deep solidarity and mutual accountability with our migrant neighbors in the months and years to come. This work is not the Church Council's work - it is all of ours to hold. Join us as we share our organizing priorities, meet our coalition partners, and hear from faith leaders.

Please share this invitation with your networks. We hope to see you there!
