Let’s Do This!! RALLY FOR AFRICAN AMERICAN REPARATIONS: Return the Land and Resources to Our Black and Brown People

We Need Everyone to Show Up for Justice!

Demand the City of Seattle return land and resources to fund affordable housing in the CD!

50 years ago, the City of Seattle forced our working class Black families, including members of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church to sell their homes under threat of eminent domain and give up precious land. We, together, want the land returned to build affordable housing so our BIPOC return to our CD neighborhood.

Join New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and hundreds of faith and community leaders of King County NAACP, Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle, Black Lives Matter, Japanese American Citizen’s League, Bethany United Church of Christ, Church Council of Greater Seattle, NW African American Museum, MLK Jr. Committee members, Low Income Housing Institute, United Black Clergy, El Centro de la Raza, Advocates and organizers of HR-40 for African American Reparations, YOU, and so many more.

Who: The PEOPLE, including YOU!

When: NOON on Saturday July 24, 2021

Where: Spruce Street Mini Park on 21st and Fir Street
