The Lowry Fund to End Homelessness was established by the family of Mike Lowry, former Governor and Member of Congress in the State of Washington, in order to honor his legacy and passion to end homelessness and develop affordable housing to own or rent for people of low or modest incomes.  The Church Council of Greater Seattle was established in 1919 to build relationships among congregations and the wider community to promote service to and justice for all people.  The Church Council has worked at the intersection of addressing homelessness and providing for affordable housing for all over a period of 40 years.
