On January 27, 2017, the President signed an Executive Order targeting Muslims and refugees from seven Muslim majority countries including Syria, Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Sudan, Somalia, and Libya. In the past days we have seen that in practice, this Order is affecting persons from other Muslim-majority nations as well as Muslim persons who are Lawful Permanent Residents (LPRs) and even those who are dual citizens.
