The WHEEL/Women in Black will stand vigil for at least fourteen more homeless women and men who have died outside, in a public place, or by violence in December 2020. There have been a record-breaking 29 homeless deaths during that month alone. The 2020 total of Women in Black outdoor/public/violent deaths stands at an unprecedented 154.

On this date, the WHEEL/Women in Black will stand vigil to honor these beloved people: Carlene Midkiff; Stephanie Dix; Wayne Lanksbury; Otman Erriahi; Leroy Perry; Rickie Deaver; Thomas Rinaud Johnson; Robert Lee Rouse; Michael Lee Clifton; Devon Moore; Nicole Cady; Thomas Norton; Victoria Brown; and Sarah Ann Hellerud. The vigil will be dedicated to the memories of Brenda van Camp and Dustin Charles Blake.
