Northwest Detention Center
1623 E. J St.
WA 98421

Kadima Reconstructionist Community invites you to bring the ritual and beauty of the Sukkot holiday to the NW Detention Center. Come for songs, food, and ritual under the Sukkah, as we call for an end to ICE detention, hear from people who have been detained, build solidarity for migrant justice among Jews and allies, greet people as they visit loved ones incarcerated at the NWDC, and learn simple ways to join the movement for migrant justice.

You are also invited to bring items needed by people detained at the NWDC: men’s sneakers (no laces or colors), yarn, paper (no spiral binding), colored pencils, small backpacks, and small headphones, or money to contribute to La Resistencia for this purpose.

A Kadima event, co-sponsored by the Jewish Coalition for Immigrant Justice NW and Seattle Interfaith Migrant Rights Network.
