Promised Land is an award-winning social justice documentary that follows two tribes in the Pacific Northwest: the Duwamish and the Chinook, as they fight for the restoration of treaty rights they’ve long been denied. Join us for a showing of the film followed by a discussion featuring the filmmakers and Ken Workman, 4th Generation Great Grandson of Chief Seattle and Duwamish Tribal Council Member. Learn how you can support the Duwamish as they seek the recognition they deserve.

Admission is free. Donations will be accepted to help the Duwamish Tribe. For more information, visit Promised Land or the Facebook event page. Download flier. Co-sponsored by Central Lutheran Church and Faith Action Network.
