To celebrate the Christmas season, the Northwest Chamber Chorus focuses on the composers who have taken their inspiration from stories of Mary and the birth of her son. We sample three very different settings of the Magnificat by WA Mozart, Richard Nance, and Christine Donkin — spanning four centuries. Some favorites from our choral library are blended with new music by composers from Spain, Poland, Norway, Canada, Missouri, and Kennewick, Washington. Guest oboist Ursula Sahagian joins us for this beautiful program.
