One way to celebrate International Day of Peace, held on September 21, each year, is to walk a labyrinth for peace. You will be guided in how to use your labyrinth walk as a way to reflect on peace.
The labyrinth has been used for centuries as a meditative practice. It is a private practice which can be done either by walking a labyrinth or using a “finger labyrinth.”
The International Day of Peace was established in 1981 by unanimous United Nations resolution. This year is the 70th anniversary of the UN Declaration of Human Rights.
The labyrinth walk starts at 7 p.m.
