Annual lantern floating ceremony honoring victims of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and all victims of war. On Green Lake’s northwest shore, near the Bathhouse. Free and open to the public.

6 p.m. Gathering, lantern preparation, picnicking, music

7 p.m. Program. The program features speaker David Swanson, author, peace activist, and journalist, and Seattle Youth Poet Laureate, Azura Tyabji.

8:15 p.m. Toro Nagashi Lantern Floating Ceremony
