An event intended to advance understanding and discussion of drone warfare from both political and interfaith perspectives.

Keynote speaker is Marjorie Cohn, Professor Emeritus, Thomas Jefferson School of Law, San Diego; Past President of the National Lawyers Guild; and Editor, Drones and Targeted Killing: Legal, Moral, and Geopolitical Issues, 2015.

Marjorie Cohn’s talk will be followed by comments on drone warfare from a panel of three individuals from different faith traditions, followed by questions from the audience. Panelists include Tarek Dawoud, president of Interfaith and Outreach Committee at Muslim Association of Puget Sound (MAPS); Ben Meiches, Assistant Professor, UW-Tacoma, in Security Studies and Conflict Resolution and a member of Temple Beth El, Tacoma; and Rev. Weldon Nisly, retired pastor, Seattle Mennonite Church and peace activist.
