Edmonds Lutheran Church, in partnership with the Muslim Association of Puget Sound (MAPS) presents the final part of a three-part dinner and lecture series titled “Islam, Christianity and Friendship.”
The evening will start at 5:30 p.m. with a distinguished panel of speakers who will share personal experiences of how they have faced and dealt with Islamophobia in their own lives and communities. There will be time for questions and group discussion.
The evening’s keynote speaker is Jasmin Samy, Civil Rights Manager at CAIR-Washington State (Council on American Islamic Relations), a chapter of America’s largest Muslim civil liberties and advocacy organization.
The evening will conclude with a delicious and free Mediterranean dinner, lively discussion and potential for new and lasting friendships to be fostered.
