The Climate Action Team at University Unitarian Church invites you to an evening presentation on international climate action by Bruce Knotts, Director of the Unitarian Universalist United Nations Office.

Born and raised in southern California, Bruce earned a B.A. in history from Pepperdine University and a master’s degree in international education from the Monterey Institute of International Studies. He volunteered with the Peace Corps in Ethiopia and later worked in Saudi Arabia and Somalia before he joined the Department of State as a U.S. diplomat in 1984. After retiring from the Foreign Service, he joined the Unitarian Universalist United Nations Office as its director in 2008. The UU-UNO promotes the goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all, as reflected in the United Nations Charter.
