UTOPIA Washington has partnered with Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network (WAISN) and King County to offer financial relief for King County immigrant residents! There are two funds available:
1. $1000 per individual for King County immigrant residents who are ineligible for federal stimulus money or unemployment benefits due to their immigration status.
2. Up to $3000 per individual and up to $6000 per household to help King County immigrant residents apply for documented status and citizenship for fees associated with the immigration process.
Some basic qualifications include not having citizenship status, living or working in King County, and being under 200% of the federal poverty guideline.
